Daniel Gall receives IBM Faculty Award

Prof. Daniel Gall receives the 2019 IBM Faculty Award for research on "Post-Cu metallization" that provides a research gift of $40,000 for work in this area.

This award further recognizes exciting work from Prof. Gall's group that seeks new metals that could outperform copper as nano-scale wires in future silicon chips. In Fall 2018, LAM Research awarded him with the Unlock Ideas Faculty Award for research on "Metal interconnects solutions", accompanied by a $25,000 research gift.
